My Favourite Taverns

Enjoy this ancient city in the Camino de Santiago, in a different way. I offer an exciting journey through history, culture, cuisine and wines. We will visit the most typical places, and we will move through the medieval Old Town where we will find some of its most representative taverns. Places to savor wines from Bierzo, Tierra de Leon, ... accompanied by “tapas”. Its Gothic cathedral, Romanesque St. Isidore's, Roman Wall, some of its Renaissance palaces, or the modernism of Gaudí, all of them impassive witnesses of our presence.

Route: A trip on foot trough the most representative places and monuments of the city, visiting four taverns.

Duration: 3 h. (Can be expanded - 6 € ½ hour and person). Morning-afternoon tour/evening tour.
When: Daily.

Immersion in the culture and history of the city by a Social Science teacher. (Art, History, Geography, Enology): I will be your personal adviser. Recommendation for every comsumption, there is a wine for every person, a food to be paired, and we think all you have to do is tell me what are your favourite flavours, from that I will find the wine that fits you best! Price: 20 € person 30 € if only one person. (Drinks and tapas included, one per person and place = 4 drinks and taps per person).

Location: Plaza San Marcelo, ability to pick up on, if it is staying in a central hotel.

My Favourite “tapas” in León

It often happens in tourist cities that best places are not the ones located in the city center, or those more touristic, or even for those included in the guides like the most recommended. Just get away from the center, to check the “tapas” that have made famous the city of Leon,  are not only in the old quarter, where we find Barrio Húmedo, and Barrio Romantico, but they are located in different neighborhoods often ignored by visitors or pilgrims.

Route: A guided tour through my favorite bars, those that offer a wider variety of free tapas, and, for most mortals can replace even a meal. Visiting furthermore a deli.
